i KNOW...

that the Lord answers prayers, which has been proven to me especially this last week.

on september 20, one of my old friends who i haven't talked to in years ((sam bailey)) got in a car accident in loa, utah.  he was flown via life flight up here to utah valley, and was in a deep coma with brain injuries.

you wouldn't believe the prayers and support he got.  i swear he had the whole county of wayne prayin' constantly.  i prayed with them.

with punctured lungs, 3 small breaks in his back, a break in his neck, and bleeding on the brain, i honestly didn't think he would come out of the coma.

today, only a week after his accident, sam is talking and eating.  he shows improvement every day and should be able to move around before long.

i am honestly amazed by his recovery. i'm inspired by the insane amount of love that he and his fiancé share. i am thoroughly convinced that their love, along with a lot of help from the Lord is what brought him out of that coma.  i'm so thankful to the Lord for letting us keep sam on this earth a little longer.  i don't know him so well anymore, but you can bet i'd be very devastated if anything were to happen to him, just as his whole community would be.
