the plan was a birthday dinner for hannah at the mayan restaurant in sandy.
so, we got more ready than we've gotten in years.
(who doesn't like watching muscley men in speedos dive from great heights while you chomp on a burrito?)
i mean, hann even curled her hair.
then, due to a series of unfortunate events,
(mayan closed early, traysen got off work late, ashton showed up, anna had to work, my outfit wouldn't cooperate)
the mayan plan fell through.
it turned into an outback run with ashton, hannah, kalli, and myself.
our waiter talked too fast, hannah looks like a squirrel when she eats bread, and my fries were too bacon-y. so basically, it was nothing compared to what the mayan would have been.
but it was alright, because the night was far from over!
we dropped off kalli, and carried on to fort building.
ok, so maybe ashton did it all himself while hannah and i took pictures.
but it turned out quite nicely besides the fact that...
it was not built for slightly thicker people like myself. i could not get in!
we finally sorted it out, and everyone snuggled in for a night of rat race and cramped sleeping spaces.
there's nothing better than acting like a kid again.
