for hannah rae's 19th birthday, i surprised her with an early present: tim mcgraw/lady antebellum concert tickets.

so... on july 30, we set out on a quest to the usana amphitheatre in west valley city. we figured if we left at 4, we'd be there in plenty of time for the doors to open at 6 && the concert to start at 7.

we got hopelessly lost and then we got helplessly stuck in traffic.

we ended up rollin' on in to usana at about 8, and after waiting in the will call line for 30 minutes, we were finally in the concert.

we caught the end of lady antebellum, but that was alright because we were really there for tim. ♥

it was seriously one of the best concerts of my life.  he is so good live.  i was never too big of a tim fan before, but let me tell you now... i'm in love.

so in love that i didn't notice the drunk gays behind me.

so in love that i have memorized all his songs.

so in love that i'm concocting plans to break up him && faith.

so in love that i would go back 100 times.

so in love i debated becoming a tim groupie.

&& this is how we watched the concert.

she couldn't see tim so... i helped out.

the end of the night.... so exhausted!

so that's that!  i'll just say... hannah got one of the best birthday presents. ever. (:
