last saturday, michael and i decided we wanted to go to candlelight serenade: an acoustic music festival where all proceeds to go supporting operation 61 (www.operation61.org go look it up and learn more about the cause. its a bigger deal than you think!) it was actually pretty fun! there were a bunch of cool bands like making april, allred, third eye blind, dashboard confessional, and 311, and some i didn't know like vedera, who turned out to be amazing. look up her song, loving ghosts. it gave me chills!

he also thinks he's funny to do weird things to me when i'm trying to sleep.

the end of the day... exhausted!
we spent 10 hours out in the sun listening to live music. amazing, but it makes for one tired brielle! needless to say, it was a great way to spend one of the last days of summer: live music, sunshine, and my best friend in the world.
