dear summer... take me with you.

after attending honors orientation this afternoon, i realized...summer is over! school starts TOMORROW!  reflecting on this, i just thought i'd recap some of

the highlights of my summer:

(in no particular order...)

the reuniting of hannah and brielle after a long month of separation.

that long apart should never be allowed again.

cheering for the wrong kid at brennan's baseball games.

"go brenn! errr... i mean, allred? shoot."

we took tons of pictures at ryan ogden's farewell luncheon, but this was by far the most memorable. by the look on my face, you can tell i was upset that i didn't get to stand by justin the cutiepants. hahaha

this is the night... that ariane and i may or may not have nearly died.

mexicreepers closed in and there was no escape.

good night too though... spoon it up & fireworks. nothing is better.

mormon miracle pageant was intense with these kids.

i make a point of going to see it every year.

its basically memorized.

hometown 4th of july in richfield... eating lunch at south china with richfield's princess.

"that man found the bayybee."

"hey andrew, do you want a sno-cone?"

"yes!" ...scrumpt! 

"ummm, you just ate my whole sno-cone in one bite. you owe me five dollars."

getting my blood drawn... by a random. at the pool. right after hot-tubbing.

the greatest times playing our drinking games with no alcohol.

i love my friends!

fanta pong. partner: ryan. he thought it was funny to force me to drink. as you can tell, i look pained, but he is thoroughly enjoying himself. i think i drank twelve gallons of soda that night. we should win more.

we had really hard time getting a good picture that night.

plus, my face is hugely swollen because i got bit by a mosquito.

looking back, there are a lot of things i wish i'd done, but didn't get the chance, and even more things that i did do, that i want to change. but overall, summer was a success.  i made some new, amazing friends (even though they're all leaving me for missions!), changed my opinions on life, spent quality time with family, saw one of my best friends make the happiest decision of her life, experienced loss and love, faced my biggest fears, and learned more than i could have ever expected.  remembering the summer, it sure was long! but definitely ended too soon.

dear summer, i know you have to leave but... could you take me with you? thanks. pick me up at 8.  love, brielle.
