i am trying to get in the habit of blogging every day. or at least every other day.
this means that some posts are going to be... well, lame.
so i apologize in advance.
anyway...
this weekend hannah and i traveled home to richfield to see the rhs production of schoolhouse rock. we had to write a paper about a play for our theatre class, and, since our friend julia helped direct this one, we decided it was the perfect opportunity.

julia did so good with helping put this together. it was really entertaining and there were a couple times i even caught myself singing along! i wish i was a little more like her... talented enough to put together an entire production! good job julz! (:
after the play, jacob, hannah, cadee, and i headed over to pepperbelly's where we met up with tantan & his friends for an awkward evening meal. [i don't feel like it is appropriate to mention why it was so awkward. just know, it was among one of the top ten awkward evenings ever.] tanner ended up consuming everyone's food and having secret texting conversations with pretty much every person at the table, i think. needless to say, it was good seeing tan and hanging out with him just like the good old highschool days.
so, after pepperbelly's we went over to cad's house and played the game of life.
i hope and pray that game is no prediction of what your real life turns out like: i had 4 kids in 3 years with no car and a annual salary of $20,000. cadee kept trying to have kids before she was married but the game wouldn't let her, hann didn't get married until the end of the last couple years, and jacob spent all his money on a convertible. i guess only time will tell... haha (:
that night i also made hannah a blog...we stayed up all night doing it but it looks great! (: hannahraenelson.blogspot.com
the next day was sunday. aka church. another highly awkward [but hilarious] day that i don't feel appropriate to mention... just know it involves silly little girls and lots of hatred towards hann and i. but then again, what else is new? we ended the night off with three very interesting new friends and a great heart-to-heart. ♥
so basically... that was our weekend. i'm in orem for one day... just long enough to take an accounting test & then i'm heading back to little old richfield for thankgiving! (: the whole turner clan is coming this year and i couldn't be more excited!
p.s. i ♥ bath and body works. i may or may not have just scored six delicious bottles of lotion for twenty bucks... a deal i just couldn't pass up. i think i'm set for life. (: nothing like a good pre-black friday deal to start off the week right! add on top of that an email from cord and a chat with ike and you've got the formula for one amazing beginning thanksgiving holiday. (:
