so, as some of you may know, i've been going to a doctor in vegas and a couple months ago he informed me that i most likely had ovarian cysts and would have to get an ultrasound to see if surgery was crucial. now, i know i definitely had cysts or something wrong, because i was in constant stabbing pain all the time in my ovarian area, and i was really nervous to get the ultrasound because i was really afraid of surgery, especially if it stopped me from having kids. so, the morning of my ultrasound, my friend colten insisted on having his dad bless me. after constant refusal, i finally gave in and let his sweet dad give me a priesthood blessing. in the blessing, he promised that i wouldn't have cysts, along with some other things that seemed basically crazy at the time, since i knew i had them.
well, to make a long story short, i went and got my ultrasound and after waiting a looong time for the results, my doctor called and told me my ovaries are completely fine.
i know that before that blessing there was definitely something wrong. i also know that after the blessing, i haven't had any of that kind of pain. i strongly believe in the power of the priesthood and the ability the Lord has to heal the sick. i am so grateful that colten and his dad had enough faith at a time when i didn't, and that they were able to show to me the power that God has in our lives. i am so, so, sooo grateful for this miracle in my life, and i wanted to make sure to write it down so i never forget how much God loves me. ♥
