a picture of you from last year and now... what has changed since then?
then...i was 30 pounds heavier.
now... determined to never let myself gain that much weight again.
then... "in love" with a boy named colten.
now... single as ever && very anxious to see a certain someone. (:
then... living in apartment one ohh seven with my [unmarried] best friend and some craaaazy drama.
now... "living" in apartment onetenn with strangers, basically, while that best friend is living with her husband in provo.
then... white as a ghost.
now... slightly tanner, and more likely to get skin cancer.
then... trying for the dental hygiene program.
now... pursuing a PhD? maybe...
in this past year, i think its safe to say i've grown up. a lot.
i've got my priorities straight and i've definitely learned who matters and who never did. i've grown to appreciate my family more and learn the importance of taking responsibility of my own actions. i've discovered there are worse things than a broken heart and there is more than one person out there for me. i've learned how to move on when lingering in the past is the only thing i feel like doing, and how to say no even when saying yes would be so easy. i've learned that loving and losing is better than never loving at all, and that some people, like my family, will care no matter what stupid things i do. i've discovered my true friends and so many other things that have shaped me into the woman i am today, but most of all i've learned that being myself is the best thing i can do and caring what people think is only going to hold me back from achieving my dreams.
