alright, now i'm not one for causing drama. it seems to me that most arguments aren't worth it, so i keep my mouth shut. but here's the thing: remember the boy i blogged about in these posts? and his silly little girlfriend? well, she's always had a problem with me. a big problem. so big, in fact, that she feels the need to talk me down to his entire family in order to make herself look good. i hear the things she says [none of which are even half true, by the way] and i've always been able to laugh it off, claiming she was pathetic and insecure. now, that might be true... but her pathetic-ness got to me a couple weeks ago. i had heard enough of the lies she'd been spreading about me. i was upset at the way she took my best friend away from me. in short, i was angry at the world... and i took it out on her.
long story short, i made a snotty comment on a status about her. it wasn't much, but it blew up big.
...and i felt bad for doing it.
...and i felt bad for doing it.
a lot of other stuff went down, but that's not the point of this post. the point is to prove how truly ridiculous some people are. ya see, colten is on a mission. heather has taken over his facebook, and, on top of leaving comments to colten (which are really just comments to herself), she has decided to block me from his account. am i the only one that thinks this is a little too far? first of all, colten and i weren't even friends on facebook. granted, i would look at his page to check up on how his mission was going... and that is exactly the point. he's on a mission. are you seriously that insecure that you have to block his ex-girlfriend from seeing how he's doing? what is going to hurt if i see what area he's serving in and if he's gained any weight? get over it. i know i have.
i know i shouldn't have ever said anything rude to her, but i did. and i can't take it back. i could apologize, but i haven't said anything to her she didn't deserve to hear. she needs to move on, because that's what i'm doing. i just can't believe she had to turn it in to that big of a deal. am i being ridiculous? i feel like i have a right to laugh at her for blocking me. i'm open to opinions on the matter.
so, i think the moral of this story is... don't ever date anyone.
because then you'll get dumped for a girl who hates you and can't take jokes. she'll bring out the worst in you and take away all your old friendships.
it rocks.
