doctor days.

today was pretty good, for spending most of it in a doctor's office. (:

i woke up on time, looked slightly cute, and i even went to all my classes!

it was one of those drive-with-the-window-down-music-blasting-sunglasses-on kind of days.

knowing that the doctor was going to put me on a strict diet, i splurged a little for some delicious cafe rio and enjoyed it while watching last night's episode of glee. (:

after glee, my parents picked me up and we headed over to the good old doctor's office. lots of tests and a little bit of blood later, we were leaving with yet another big bag of yucky tasting pills that will make me feel ohhsogood, strict diet instructions, and a new bedtime. :(

but... the adventure continues! we headed over to my great-aunt claudia's to pick up her [and kristen, of course] to go eat a sugar free, yeast free, msg free dinner at olive garden! aunt claudia is so entertaining and it was soo nice to have a dinner with all of us together. lots of laughs, that's for sure! (:

by this time, it was freezing. which really is confusing to me. this morning was so nice! anyway, my parents are great. they took me to costco and bought me a serious crapload of groceries as motivation to eat the way the doctor says. not to mention i got to use my favorite hand dryers in the costco bathroom! [check out kristen's post about this amazing invention here. we are definitely family! haha]

while we were busy spending hundreds of dollars in costco, a blizzard decided to form outside and i didn't have a coat... let's just say getting to the car with all our stuff was a freezing adventure! utah weather... so bipolar.

so basically, that was my day. i just spent the last half hour separating my new pills into breakfast lunch & dinner piles so i don't get confused and overdose, and now i'm off to bed because i'm under strict doctor's orders to be in bed by 1030 every night. i seriously feel like my grandma. i just need a pill box and bifocals and i'll be set. say goodbye to any kind of social life... just stick me in the nursing home right now! haha (: but for real... hopefully this doctor isn't crazy like the last one because i really just wanna feel good. i guess only time will tell!
