favorite superhero and why?
this is grampa...
&& he is the strongest man i've ever met.
he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer) when i was just a baby and was told he wouldn't last five years.
now, here we are, nineteen years later, and he's still the strongest man i've ever met. he's fought that cancer & proved to everyone that nothing will beat him.
he is the man that holds our family together and gets us through the hard times. like when my brother got sent home from his mission, and my parents were so upset... all grampa said is, "remember, God only raised one perfect son." and i think that is exactly what my parents needed to hear at that point. they needed to realize no one is perfect but Christ and it got them through that hard place. i don't think they could have done it without my grampa.
i know you're thinking that he's just a man, he's not a superhero...
but to me && my family, he's superman.
