so this weekend was one of the most eventful in a LONG time! on friday [february 26], my dear friend michael and i went out on a quest to attend the WE THE KiNGS featuring mayday parade, a rocket to the moon, and there for tomorrow concert at The Great Saltair. lets just say... we had no idea where the saltair was and got terribly awfully lost. after asking directions three times at different locations, we finally made it! the concert was magnificent! mayday parade is pretty much my favorite band, except they didn't even play my favorite song...miserable at best so i was a little upset. i fell in LOVE with a rocket to the moon. so amazing. look them up and you just might fall in love too ;)
so after the concert, michael and i headed home to orem, where we grabbed some brownie pie at village inn and then i took michael back to springville to stay at his sister's house. mardi gras time! i picked up courtney mehew and we headed over to uvu for the party of the century! there was speed dating, a kissing booth, spray tattoos, jambalaya, a dance, pizza, pancakes, a mechanical bull, and the night ended at 5 a.m. with watching THE PRiNCESS AND THE FROG! it is such a cute movie! needless to say, i was exhausted the next day and almost fell asleep driving home to richfield. oh, the things we do for fun!
