honors masquerade ball

on february 12, uvu honors hosted a *required* masquerade ball for all honors and leadership students, and it was a BLAST! there was a live band, dessert bar, and a professional photographer. me and rachel made homemade masks which was most of the fun!

well anyway, i was planning on going to the ball with rachel but then she went and got a date with dreyson and i was a little bit upset because i didn't want to go to the ball all alone like a loser! but then, as if sent from above, i get a magical text message from my neighbor jace saying... "hey, who are you going with to the ball tonight? because we should go together so we don't look like losers." BAM! i suddenly wasn't a loser anymore! me and jace had a super fun night dancing to the live band :) he taught me how to chacha and samba and we danced until my feet pretty much fell off.

after the ball, we decided to build a blanket fort in my living room and color like the good old childhood days (when boys still had cooties. good days) haha needless to say, it was one of the most fun nights i have had in a very long time and i'm so glad that honors *required* us to have fun! :)
