"remember when we stayed up late and we talked all night in the dark room lit by the tv light? through all the hard times in my life, those nights kept me alive."

this last friday, my cousin hannah rae and i were invited to go to the nay's house and play games with them to celebrate chase getting home from his mission in suva fiji. lets just say, it was the most fun i've had in a while! there were about a million of us [[chase nay, hannah, colton nay, colten jolley, jaron & larissa coleman, shantel hunt, lance nay, and caden christensen]] and we played games like "lucky unders","31", and "apples to apples". me, being the crazy lucky girl i am, won the first round of lucky unders, which was pure luck let me tell you. every round after that i did AWFUL. card games are not my thing. apples to apples didn't treat me very well either. first of all, hannah and chase are little cheaters and would pick each other's card no matter what! i had some good answers but NO ONE would pick them! i was getting very frustrated! eventually i ended up with one card because shantel took pity on me and chose my card. thank goodness for her! :) we stayed up until about one with the whole nay family, just laughing, talking, and sharing old memories!
it was so awesome to get to spend time with chase after two years! he definitely has a fijian accent and forgets english words a lot. he also now wears a skirt [["it's a sulu!" as he always tells me]] to church now. i love when missionaries come home. you can see the change in them so strong from being on a quest for the Lord. i'm so glad i got to spend some extra time with chase and his family this weekend! love ya :)
