what i've learned...

today it finally hit me that..................... i am no longer a freshman in college! :) the worst is over!  here are the things i *learned* my first year away from home...

• you can't trust anyone but yourself.
• pre-missionary boys are to be stayed away from.
• there are worse things that can happen to you than being alone.
• me=peacemaker.
• if you're sick, go to the doctor.
• you never know how much stuff you have until you have to move.
• family is the most important thing.
• working for your brother is a lot harder than it seems.
• lying will always come back to bite ya in the butt.
• its a lot harder to be a good person when you don't live with mommy and daddy.
• i need to stand up for myself.
• dresses are comfortable.
• i really do have a mean face.
• dating isn't for everyone.
• memory foam saves lives.
• crying is healthy.
• letting go is the first step to happiness.
• i don't have too many true friends.
• its okay to change your major over 10 times.
• online classes suck.
• i'm definitely one of the more blessed people in the world.
• after getting through this year, i think i can handle living with anyone.
• rebellion isn't cool.
• the ability to start over is one of the best gifts we've been given.
• God is great. the best.
• freshman 15 is unavoidable.
• i need to be more grateful.
• 2 years isn't really that long.
• memories and love are the only things we can really keep forever.

i really have learned soooo much from this year, i don't think i could ever put it all into words.  i think the most important thing is the growing up i have done and will continue to do. :) sophomore year, i'm ready!
